FACE and Derbyshire Environmental Studies Service bring you a day of hands on and fun ideas to help you run curriculum linked activities using the trees, hedges, meadows, ponds and streams on your farm/in your school grounds. Activities will support teaching of geography and science but also other curriculum areas.

The day will be led by Georgina Greaves from DESS - George is a trained teacher who used to teach full time in a school and has over 15 years experience of delivering learning outside the classroom with young people, families and community groups of a range of ages.  Working in a wide range of natural and built environments she enjoys linking the real world with the national curriculum to create inspiring, active and memorable learning experiences.
